TODAY’S THOUGHT
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE SIMPLE INGREDIENTS SUCH AS SALT…
Salt is a powerful flavour enhancer. It not only provides a salty taste but also helps to bring out and balance the natural flavours of other ingredients. By suppressing bitterness and amplifying sweetness, salt makes a dish more palatable and flavourful. This is why a small pinch of salt can make a huge difference in everything from a simple roasted vegetable dish to a rich, caramel dessert.
